Privacy notice

Last updated: 18 September 2026

This website is a static page. It asks before it measures anything: until you allow it, no analytics script is loaded and nothing is stored in your browser.

Analytics

The site can count visits with Google Analytics 4, and it does that only if you allow it. The cookie notice appears on your first visit. Until you press Allow, no Google script is loaded, no request goes to Google and no cookie is set. If you decline, that answer is remembered in your browser and nothing further happens.

Once you allow it, Google Analytics sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_9EDNTGFEM7. Both expire after two years and hold a random identifier for your browser. Google then receives that identifier, your IP address, the address of the page you are on, the page you came from, and basic information about your browser, device and approximate location. None of it identifies you by name. The tag denies advertising storage and personalisation, so the data is used for visit statistics only.

For visitors in Europe the service is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, which processes the data on my behalf. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

You can withdraw consent at any time. Open cookie settings to answer the question again, or delete the cookies in your browser. The Google Analytics opt-out add-on and any content blocker that blocks googletagmanager.com stop it as well. Google's privacy policy explains what Google does with the data.

Web fonts

The site also loads the Manrope web font from Google Fonts. Your browser sends its IP address to Google to fetch the font. Google's privacy policy applies to that request.

Hosting

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages by GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Like any web host, GitHub records technical details of each request, such as IP address, time, requested page and browser, in server logs to run and secure the service. We have no access to these logs. See GitHub's privacy statement for details.

Linked apps and stores

Links to the App Store, the Mac App Store, Google Play, GitHub and JitPack lead to sites run by other companies. Their privacy policies apply once you follow a link. The apps themselves have their own privacy notices on their pages.
